From here I was able to work with acrylics on canvas to have larger spaces. I worked also in this paintings with many layers of paint to achive deep colourspaces. 

These are the first examples of lithographic prints from up to 12 stones that give very deep and lightfull colourspaces. 

Here I succeded with beeswax on aluminium to satisfy my longing for light - after nearly 20 years of working with clay. The panels are only  about 30 to 31 cm.  

For this first painting series I had a very good unsized cotton paper (Arches 88) that allowed me to work - mainly with several sorts of clay, with graphite pencil and inc - with great impact on wet paper without any binder. Later I used beeswax to go thicker and finally work on canvas also.

Beginning with painting while I was a ceramist - in the beginning I painted on clay - pots, plates, slabs - which were growing larger and larger (up to more than 60 cm in diameter and 5 cm in thickness). That was the point where I was not able to go any further in this very heavy process of production, making and firing the slabs. At this moment I recalled that I am a painter, studied painting 10 years ago and can use paper or canvas.
